Likes: Friends, jokes, eating, goofing around Dislikes: People who threaten his friends, annoying conversations, missions, Work Strengths: Strategic, smart, Good defense, and average speed Weaknesses: Physically not strong, sometimes holds back, bad offense, sometimes domineering Personality: Kentaro is a complex person. While he is disinterested in the affairs of the world around him, he also wishes to change it for the better, though is slightly afraid to attempt to do so. In conversation, on the rare times that he participates in it, Ken has extreme difficulty reading the atmosphere in situations and usually just speaks out what comes to mind in his usual deadpan tone, sometimes making others surprised at his actions. Ken generally attempts to keep his cool under most circumstances, and no matter what his enemies ever do to him, he can sometimes come up with a retort to it of questionable quality. He is also able to forgive easily. In battle, should he have a reason to fight, he does not normally fight with his best efforts until he absolutely needs to. Even while fighting, he maintains his calm and relaxed persona, and is shown to be very smart and perceptive. But when pushed to the absolute limit, like when his friends are almost on the verge of dying, his calm persona disappears and is replaced with a more aggravated one, as he his shown to lose all reason, only to beat his enemies to a pulp. A P P E A R A N C E ! Height: 5'10 Weight: 166 Remarkable Features: Pink hair. Overall Looks: His hair is a light pink, and is often teased about his hair, but he usually ignores insults. It also very shaggy, and is kept short so it doesnt hang over his eyes. When he feels lazy, he will not even bother to comb it after he gets up from sleep. His eyes are a mixture of black and brown, but usually tells everyone that they are black. Kentaro likes to wear a black jacket that is covered in pockets to keep various stuff in, which he wears all the time, unless he is in a very hard battle. Under his jacket, he wears a gray short sleeve shirt with a big black stripe going across the shirt diagonally. He has blue jeans which has a chain connecting from his pocket, to a loop on the side of his jeans. His shoes have the same design as his shirt, gray shoes with black stripe going across it. For school, Kentaro appears to dress like he is in the military, as he wears matching shirt and pants that are blue with white borders and gold buttons and zippers. He also has black boots and white gloves A B I L I T I E S ! Hitman Ability: Ken is a master mid-ranged attacks with his staff, but was also taught to fend for himself in a fight, but lacked the physical strength to actually use it. Because of his rain flame, he is usually seen using it to defend himself, using the tranquility aspect to slow down attacks, like flame enveloped objects until they are just normal weapons, reducing their effectiveness. Box animals can also be affected by this, but to a lesser degree where only their movement would be slowed to a minimum, but still will be able to attack. Humans will feel slightly heavier when faced with his rain flames, but will still be able to walk and attack, which will feel like a small weight on their arms and legs Because of this, Ken's main fighting style would be a defensive type, not really committing himself to attack mainly. Flame Type: Rain |
Ring(s): Vongola Rain Guardian Ring
Box Weapon: Personale Di Pioggia
This is a weapon that Ken uses all the time, and sometimes doesn't even put it back in the box. The appearance of the staff at first is a small metal rod, kind of like a cylinder. But when infused with rain flames, the rod elongates into a full grown staff, with small rain flames coming out of both ends of the staff. The staff uses the rain flames powers of tranquility to defend from flames and physical attacks. Ken can also cover the staff in complete rain flames, to further punish his enemies.
Box Animal:Malvivente Di Pioggia (Rain Gorilla)
Ken only uses this when he really needs to. The appearance of the gorilla is a giant blue gorilla, about a foot taller than him, and has a flames coming from his hands and eyes. Being the size that he is, His gorilla, which he named Kong, can easily handle himself during a fight, using his fists to destroy his opponents. He could also be used for transportation when Ken is feeling lazy, running at most 25 mph.
His most powerful attack is a beam from his mouth. His beam is strong enough to stop small objects, like knife and weapons of small size. It also diminishes the flames of anything that it hits, getting rid of the flames until the opponent produces more. It can be used to stop people, but can only slow them down for a short while, as their movements can be compared to walking in water.

History:
When Ken was growing up, the world of the mafia was all around him. He was constantly put in danger as a kid, he and his brother. His brother Daisuke and himself being twins. His Father was a subordnate to an unknown, small time mafia family, while his mother was basically maid, but the family did whatever they could to survive during the mafia times. Ken, learned how to fend for himself, with his father teaching Ken the ways of martial arts, and for Daisuke at an early age. Where Ken hadnt been the one to do anything, and Daisuke could pick things up very quickly. Daisuke took over the responsibility for him.
When Ken and Daisuke where five, perhaps about a month after their birthday, their parents got in something to deep. The small mafia family his parents had been working for, took them as a threat. All of them. So, the mafia decided that they had to go, the quickest way, was death. Ken's family, was fighters, but none of them had things like rings or box's. Ken's mother and father, were murdered in cold blood in front of the twins. Though, they had been hiding when it happened. It broke Ken, and Daisuke, he would never be the same.
The two fled into the forest. They ran until they couldn't no more. It wasn't enough though, the mafia wanted to make sure everyone was dead. As they hid, something caught Ken's attention. They thought there was only one son. Because, he and Ken looked so much alike, they hadn't realized that there were two of them. Ken looked down then at his brother. One of them would die. He knew that truth. He went to look back at Daisuke but his brother wasn't in sight. Ken turned back around. He had walked right out to them crying. They didn't stop. Ken watched as his brother was impaled with a flaming arrow.
Ken wanted to cry out but nothing came from his mouth. Something struck within him at the loss of his twin. Without realizing it he had fainted because of the strong bond the two had shared. He wouldn't wake up till a few hours later. When he did, he would find his brother's and his parents bodies being burned in a pile, as if they were nothing more than trash. There were only two people there watching the bonfire. Ken didn't know what happened before he pulled a switchblade from his pocket.
He dropped down and slashed open the necks of the two unsuspecting men. Ken's face was lined with tears as he watched the fire roar with his families bodies burning inside. He didn't care about the horrible smell it made or that he was probably going to die too now. He turned when he heard a noise. He struck out with his knife, but someone caught his wrist twisting it behind his back and causing him to drop the blade. He cried out in soft pain as he was forced to the ground.
That was when a soft voice reached his ears. "You must be very scared. Loosing your family at such a young age." a man's voice spoke. At the sound of it, for some reason the boy couldn't understand, his body relaxed under the pressure the man put on it to hold him down. He didn't know why his body was reacting in such a way. He listened to the man as he proclaimed himself to be a man, from the Vongola. Ken just wished for death at that point.
"Let me help you. I will teach you the ways of the mafia, but I will not teach you the way to kill, only the way to survive." he said. He released Ken and slowly stood back up. The pink haired boy still had tears running down his face. He got up slowly. He looked at the bonfire one last time before turning to the man and following him off into the night. He was leaving everything behind.
For most of his life, the man put him into training. He trained him everywhere, prepared him for any situation, even if he didnt show any initiative to do anything, the man gave him a purpose in life again. To protect others that became close to him, and to protect those that needed help. Because of the many places they went, Ken got into the habit of wearing long coats and things like that. No matter where he went, a coat was present with him.
He grew up learning that he possessed the rain flame, and how other flames came along after that. It would be when the boy was 15, that an accident happened. The duo got caught up in a battle they couldn't run from. Ken fought with grace and was taking down many guards, the man was dealing with the leader of the group. Ken looked back from his own battle to see his own master fall back from a mist flamed attack.
As he saw his master fall, he blindly attacked the leader, beating him into a pulp before leaving with his master in his hands. They found a grassy area, where Ken laid him down and stood by him during his last moments of life. After all these years, Ken never knew the real man's named and finally asked for it, to which he replied Giatta, which made Ken smile. Giatta told Ken to use his talents to save those in need, but never to kill in cold blood. He grabbed his pocket and pulled out a ring and a box for him, saying that these were made especially for him, and told him to go to Nanimori, saying that he will find those just like him, looking for peace.
With his dead master's last words, he headed out to Japan, where he would later be inducted in the Vongola family

RP Sample:The sun was blazing on the head of Ken, while the numerous clouds in the air blocked the heat, mixed with the soft breeze of the wind, it was a good day, a good day to be out and about. To him, it might have been the brightest day that Namimori ever had in the past few days, which was a good thing for him.
Ken wasnt the one to be cooped in a hot and musky building all day, listening to all the stupid arguments between classmates, until they break out into full blown fights. Today was just a nice relaxing day. And what better way to relax than to walk around the city. "Such a nice day out today, why can't it always be like this? Life would be so much easier." Ken chuckled to himself as he looked around at the different stores and restaurants. Everybody seemed chilled today, like there was no violence or war in the world, which kind of made Ken feel a little calmer, but he knew that everyday there were going to be fights for him to fight, but rarely a peaceful day comes like this.
Ken wandered Namimori, with a smirk on his face. While looking at the many kids playing and the adult doing some kind of work, Ken would give them a smile with a friendly hello. He could see that this day was also affecting people, as they too felt a calm release over themselves. “Something about this day, feels so relaxing and calm. It feels good.” Ken thought to himself while walking around.
Ken would remember somedays it would be rainy and cold, like there was always a gray cloud in the sky. And to match the cold any rainy climate, there was a lot of crime there too, which is one of the reason that he wanted to move out of Namimori. He always had to stay inside and play with his twin brother, which was fine with him, but wished that he could do something else for a change, like actually play outside.
